What Does Freeze-Dried Mean?

Freeze-drying removes moisture by freezing the product and applying a vacuum. The water turns directly from ice to vapour, intensifying the flavour and creating a crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth texture that's totally different from the original.

Because there’s no moisture left, freeze-dried lollies can be stored for up to 25 years, depending on the product and conditions.
